CHARACTER AGE: IT IS A MYSTERY....he's an adult though. Maybe in his late twenties/early thirties.

BACKGROUND:
Once the land was untamed, and roamed by legendary adventurers! Of all the adventurers that existed, none shone brighter than Shield Knight and Shovel Knight - but this isn't a writeup about either of them so let's skip that part.
Plague Knight's origins are (still, unfortunately) shrouded in mystery. What we do know, however, is that at some point he was either recruited or of his own volition was compelled to join a group of knights called the Order of No Quarter, serving under the cold and immensely powerful Enchantress.
However, unbeknownst to anyone except a circle of his close allies, Plague Knight had his own plans - each of his other unfortunate teammates, as well as the heroic Shovel Knight, carried a vital ingredient that was essential to the completion of the ultimate potion, a feat of alchemy so daringly powerful that the brewer could seize whatever they so desired with it.
Teaming up with the enigmatic Mona, his close friend and alchemical genius, he set off on a journey to seize the essences of his former allies in the name of scientific progress - and, perhaps, for more personal reasons of his own...
As he traveled, though, he found that the allure of science for this particular project wasn't as sweet as it once was; and when Mona left due to a certain amount of misunderstanding, he found that the absence of his dearest friend was hard to deal with. On top of that, people seemed to be giving him romance tips left and right!
Once he'd compiled the ingredients necessary for the potion, even scaling the Tower of Fate itself and having one last battle with his former allies before drawing out the essence of the powerful Enchantress, the fateful moment came; the hour was at hand for a remarkable feat of alchemy to be completed.
Plague Knight found, to his dismay, that what he'd been seeking all along was something he already had - the person whose approval he'd desperately sought, his close friend Mona, was someone who already loved him for who he was. But it was too late to stop the reaction, and so he battled fiercely against the distorted shadows of what he feared he'd been all along.
In the end, he made the potion regardless - but since he had no need for it, Mona suggested it would be better to let it explode and blow up the Tower of Fate, making them into celebrated heroes - a status that would no longer force them to operate in secret underground. The plan worked, and Plague Knight's allies - as well as Plague Knight himself - were incredibly pleased by its success.
And that is where the story ends - at least for now.

Canon Point: After Plague of Shadows DLC. He had an accident and blew himself up, it's kind of a miracle it didn't happen before, the end.
Age: Who the fuck knows. An adult tho. Probably mid 20s??
Description: Short and kind of scrawny. Birdlike is a good descriptor to fit him. Heavily clothed for his size; wears his armor and mask constantly. The only part of him uncovered are his fingers.
Physical changes: His fingers are more like claws now, able to grip and slash more effectively; they've turned dark green at the tips where they've hardened.
History:
Hell Status: Hell Newbie
What Brings Them To Hell: Plague Knight blew up a lot of things and experimented on many people and caused a lot of collateral damage and basically mugged his coworkers for their life essence...he's not exactly a world-destroying terror, nor would he want to be, but he sure is a dipshit.
The Pitch: OH BOY. Plague Knight is ridiculous and kind of awful, to be frank. He picks fights with people about hats, has no respect whatsoever for the teammates he's worked with for years (save one) and is totally willing to blow things up at a moment's notice to get the desired results. He's often really childish and super petty. He's incredibly reckless in his pursuit of Science and has a certain disregard for people who work under him (experimenting and mocking their lack of brainpower).
